Bearsden Academy, East Dunbartonshire

We held a Languages Day Celebration Event with 22 stalls for different languages and places from around the world, where our students were able to share their culture, languages, traditional food and experiences with the wider school community. 

We had a silent disco with various playlists of global music, some traditional dance demonstrations, and games, quizzes, and challenges to test the staff and students' knowledge of languages and facts about the world. 

In the week running up to the event we had videos of staff and students saying hello or good morning in different languages to start each day, and sheets to help them pronounce different greetings.
